My family has lived in several different neighborhoods in San Diego and never found a mechanic we feel as good about as Honest-1. I took my car in for oil leaks that I had been ignoring. I also need two other problems examined. My transmission after some rough shifting earlier in the week that disappeared after one morning and my coolant system after my car was running a little warmer than usual yesterday morning (not during my evening drive home). My plan was to wait for the quote to fix the oil leaks before asking about my other problems. Honest-1 found 3 oil leaks, a leaking transmission seal, and a faulty/leaking coolant pump during their inspection. I was relieved they spotted my suspected problems before I asked. All of my problems (including one discovered while repairing the oil leaks) were fixed in one day. All of the little repairs added up, but the total cost was very reasonable. Honest-1 is going to be our permanent auto shop no matter where our next move in San Diego takes us.
